It is great and as advertised, however the cuffs are so tight unless I am wearing short sleeves I have trouble getting my hands in past the wrist. Also the front pockets are sewn on with some the orange visible from the outside. contact me at [****] if you want pictures. Otherwise I like it.
I am super impressed with this product after spending the late 2025 season trying to find the best way to keep my hands warm in fingerless gloves in a saddle set up with other muffs. I wanted to give a fairly in-depth review with some gear identification to give an idea of the dimensions and what can be put in this muff/storage combo. It is well constructed, zippers work well, etc. The warmer itself is neoprene and the attached magnetic enclosure/pockets is almost like a very soft corduroy. The magnets work well and are quiet. The warmer hand openings are generous.
I walked the dog last night in a pair of Sitka liner gloves (I wear a size large) and had no issues getting my hands in and out of the warmer, with the cinch completely open or slightly cinched. Additionally, with a 6' slip lead, electronic hand warmers, a bag of treats, an e-collar remote, and a roll of poop bags, there was a slight sway of the hand warmer back-and-forth while walking with my hands outside the warmer at about a 15-minute per mile pace, but it wasn't bad and didn't make any noise. I'm sure with some additional tinkering on where you have the warmer on your body while walking in, the sway could be eliminated entirely but I had it slung pretty low to see whether there was side-to-side sway.
While I haven't tested in a saddle, I plan on using this as a replacement for a bino harness or bino hanging system in the tree while saddle hunting. The bigger binos in the photos, a pair of Vortex 8x42 Viper HDs, fit in the larger of the two pockets under the magnetic flap at the front of the warmer. Those were a bit of a tight fit when turning them sideways to close the zipper but it wasn't too difficult to close. You do lose a little volume in the smaller front pocket but I could still fit a wind checker and a Black Diamond head lamp (storm 500-r maybe?), and they fit quite easily in the bigger dump pouch.
The remainder of the photos show what I intend to run to give an idea of size. I am able to comfortably fit a pair of Vortex 6.5x32 Bantam HDs (the Vortex child binoculars, great for saddle hunting in heavy cover on public land) and a Vortex Viper HD 3000 rangefinder in the bigger of the two front pockets and am able to close it comfortably. There is no loss of volume for the smaller pocket in the front containing the wind checker and headlamp in the front pocket.
The pictures with me wearing the warmer are configured so that my rangefinder and grunt tube are in the big dump pouch, the binoculars are in the bigger of the two magnetic closure pockets, and my headlamp and wind checker in smaller pocket under the magnetic flap. With everything closed walking into the tree, it's not too large and doesn't stick out too far from your body. You can flip the magnetic flap over into the zippered dump pouch, which is fairly voluminous, and sort of presents you with 3 "levels" of access in the tree. With this set up, the hand warmer isn't heavy and there is plenty of additional room so that I could add electronic or old school hand warmers, a merino neck buff/face cover, and a pair of gloves/extra gloves.
Having the option to run it with a waist belt or the carabiners to clip into your bridge loops really provides some great options for a saddle hunter while also having secondary uses such as using it with a waist belt while ground hunting or hunting out of a tree stand (or walking the dog when it's cold!). It's definitely something that will be very useful for late-season saddle hunting, and I would highly recommend making the purchase.
It’s a 4.5/5 for me, very close to 5/5. First use was on a marsh scouting and supply run in appx 28° weather. Ripping 30mph on glass to our spot left tears which froze on my lashes. Tested without gloves or liners and my hands were more than comfortable in that wind. Pockets are solid for basics like keys, license, some shells, and phone. I have three verrrry small nitpicks which make up the half-star. 1- Love the green, but would like a few more color options. 2- the openings for your hands are good, not perfect for those with big hands. Given there’s an awesome cinch to narrow the size a little extra here would have been nice. If I try to use this with even thinner gloves, I’m not getting in one-handed. 3- durability concerns (tbd), I can see the soft fuzzy material getting roughed up when climbing trees for saddle, or poking through marsh to get to a good vantage point. Keep up the good work TN!
Fantastic handwarmers on steroids! Besides being warm, they have excellent storage for essential items as well as a couple different methods of attachment. Very well thought out.
