It's not hunting season yet, but I've been prepping and practicing with the Minin Kunai. This thing is so light and compact. Easy to pack and even easier to stack with sticks. I wrapped some hockey tape in a few strategic places and it is silent. I LOVE the no-post design! It packs easier and quieter and the little platform offers more space with no post in the way. Once cammed in place - the platform is rock solid and no possibility of a "creak' like i get from my standard platform/post. Only thing I need to change is the safety strap that holds the "under-spike" at a safe angle. It is heavier and the buckle allows some possible "clank"... but I think I have a plan with some paracord and a roller cam. That strap doesn't support any weight; it just needs to keep the underneath support from opening too far/becoming un-safe.
For light compact carrying and shorter hunts, I think the MK will work out very well.
