I started saddle hunting when Tethrd came out with their first saddle. It was super uncomfortable but I toughed it out for a season. Since then I have tried almost every brand. I own 9 saddles now from 6 different manufacturers and thought that the newest tethred ultralock SD was gonna be a homerun. I hunted it once and was not a fan. Prior to this I used the latitude method and then the method 2 and cruzer archon. I have now hunted 6 days in the Timber Ninja and have to say...I will not wear anything but this saddle from now on. I am blown away by the comfort and adjustability. It looked like it was gonna be heavy when I saw the pictures but it is surprisingly light weight. The padding has allowed me to sit for 6 hours without being uncomfortable. I bought the XL because I thought I would be hunting the winter in thicker First lite gear and need the extra room. I am 6'3" have a 35 inch waist, 210 lbs. I wish I would have been able to try the regular waist first but am still very happy with this purchase. my only issue is that I lost the magnetic stick hangers on the second hunt. Not sure if I will buy replacements or just use old school parachord to hold my sticks while I climb. All I can say is AWESOME saddle.
