Black Belt Ultimate Saddle
Here’s a copy from what I said before !!
Hi guys, I wanted to share some feedback about my Black Belt Ultimate. Overall, I really like the saddle, but I have to say I’m disappointed with one particular design detail. When walking with the saddle, especially with gear in the pouches, it naturally tends to slide down. I tried adding suspenders to solve the problem, but there are no proper attachment points toward the front of the saddle. The only available attachment points force me to move the suspender connections much farther toward the sides/back. I was able to make it work, but the geometry is not comfortable. Attaching anything to the front waist strap isn’t really a good option either because the webbing is very soft and it’s part of the Fidlock waist-belt system. For a premium saddle at this price point, I really feel that two small, reinforced suspender attachment loops near the front should have been incorporated into the design. It would be a very simple addition and would make a significant difference when walking with the saddle loaded. I’m not trying to criticize the product as a whole — I actually like it a lot. But this particular detail surprised me, because Timber Ninja clearly put a lot of thought into making the Black Belt a complete hunting system. I just didn’t expect to have to improvise an attachment system for something as basic as suspenders. I’m sending a couple of pictures so you can see exactly what I mean. I’d also be interested to know if you have a solution or attachment method that I may have overlooked. Thanks
Sat in a few main saddle brands. This is the most comfortable one. Much more versatile and way more features than the method 3 or any others. The mud flap is genius and awesome for sticks or anything that’ll fit. Magnetic stick and platform holders are great.
I Do wish TN would have a 3 point suspender to purchase since they help when going in heavy. Overall I think it’s the best saddle on the market still
Made the switch from running tethered saddles. Glad I did.
Great product! Looking forward to using it!
