Only my 2nd saddle, but going from a basic single panel saddle to this was a huge upgrade. Incredibly comfortable. Absolutely no hip pinch. And the magnetic platform hauler is a super useful feature. Also bought the L & R pouch and although I want to love them, it's more of a "like" at this point. The pouches themselves are a great size and very high quality, but the zipper is nearly impossible to work one-handed and it's quite loud. Probably becuase it's a water proof zipper, but I'd much rather have something easy to operate that's quiet than difficult, loud and waterproof. Otherwise I'm super happy and woudl recommend to anyone looking for a 2 panel saddle. Also love that they're a NC company!
This hands down has to be the most comfortable saddle on the market - both while walking in to the tree, and sitting for hours on end.
I’ve been running a single panel saddle since 2020 and figured it’s time for an upgrade. With that single panel, I was having to adjust it every hour or so, as it kept rising up my backside - even with the leg straps snugged. However with the TN Dual Panel, I was in a tree in Oklahoma last week, and after 4 hours I hadn’t had to make one single adjustment.
I really like how the second/ bottom panel can be easily adjusted via the straps through the G hooks. And then easily pulled and snugged up tight again for “single panel” mode. The padding inside of the panels is perfect. It’s like a heavenly little hammock cradling your butt cheeks.
The weight is pretty incredible. Noticeably lighter than other two panel saddles on the market, as I ordered another one along with the Dual Panel saddle, and returned the other one after holding them in each hand.
In the attached photo I’m using some dump pouches from Amazon that I really like because of the small pockets on the outside. I upgraded my ropes to the 8MM TN ropes which should arrive today. All in all there are so many cool features with this saddle. I intend on using it for years to come.
Not happy with this saddle, while walking to my stand the dual panel kept falling down, the straps kept loosening up on me and the leg straps would not stay tight felt like a drooping diaper had to keep adjusting it, it was comfortable in the tree, The strap material needs to be a better material like cloth type strapping not what is currently on it, I will stick with my Cruzr XC. I am very disappointed with the Dual saddle performance the ninja needs some better strapping material that holds and does not fall down while walking.
I came from a big name brand saddle to Timber Ninja. So glad I did. No longer need a back band to get in my way. It’s so light I can’t even notice it’s on when hiking in/out. The bridge system is outrageously adjustable. Zero hip pinch. The platform holder on the back is a real game changer. Everything about this saddle is so well thought out and perfectly executed. I’m 6’1” 240 with a 34” waist and I ordered the XL because I don’t skip leg day and it fits perfect. All day sit approved. This saddle is legit.
As advertised, the 2 panel saddle is the way to go. It was definitely an upgrade from last year's saddle. The quality appears to be what I expected. Haven't hunted with it yet but will try and update this review after a season. Stoked to put some hours in it.
